Services

I offer weekly psychotherapy services for individuals and couples in Midtown Sacramento, as well as virtual services to clients throughout California. I work with many high achieving individuals and couples navigating the perinatal and postpartum period, parenting young children, and experiencing other life transitions. In addition to my graduate school training, I have pursued training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (to support couple’s work), Perinatal Mental Health via Postpartum Support International, and treatment for anxiety.

I firmly believe that each individual has inherent strengths, resources, and the capacity for healing. These values inform everything I do as a therapist. My approach to therapy is warm, relational, and trauma informed. In my work, I draw on a range of therapeutic modalities based on each individual’s needs.

As a therapist, I strive to:

  • Build therapeutic relationships that are transparent, accountable, and healing.

  • Engage in collaborative problem solving with clients. I do not hold the answers. This is a partnership. I help clients explore their own strengths, build on solutions that have worked in the past, and come up with their own answers.

  • Practice unconditional positive regard. I will honor the client, reflect back their inherent strengths, and demonstrate respect by providing honest feedback.

  • Maintain a non-judgmental space.

  • Help clients reframe their experiences to develop self-narratives that are kind, honest and helpful.

  • Pull from various modalities to meet the unique needs of each individual.

  • Share resources with clients, including opportunities for mindfulness, physical activity, and community engagement.

  • Maintain a social justice perspective and participate in continued learning to unpack my own social location and unconscious biases.

How does the process work?

Step 1

Reach out via email hannahccwellness@gmail.com to schedule a free 20 minute phone consultation.

Step 2

Engage in a brief phone consultation to share more about what you are looking for in therapy, ask questions, and get a sense of my approach as a therapist. Based on this conversation, we will determine whether to move forward with scheduling an initial session.

Step 3

Complete online Intake Paperwork. This paperwork must be completed prior to our initial session together.

Step 4

Meet for our initial session to begin getting to know each other and developing goals for therapy.
